Malaysia is banning the entry of all foreign visitors during the period of March 18-31. Residents of the country are barred from traveling overseas. Places of worship, schools and business premises will be shut except for markets that supply daily needs.
 
Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said it in a televised address late Monday. The emergency measures are effective during March 18 - 31, he said.
 
At the same time foreigners will be allowed to leave Malaysia.
 
During this 14-day quarantine government and private-sector operations will be shut in the country except for those providing essential services such as utilities, health, banking and food supply.
 
Please, don't plan your visits to the Embassy of Indonesia in Kuala Lumpur or Consulates of Indonesia in Malaysia for these days.
